Kindergarten Round Up!

Online Registration is Now Open for Volusia County Public Schools

Is your child turning five on or before September 1? Then it’s time to start their exciting educational journey!

Families can now register online for the 2024–2025 school year. In addition to online registration, schools across the district are hosting in-person Kindergarten Orientation events where you can meet teachers, explore the campus, and learn what to expect this fall.

Age Requirement:

Children must be 5 years old on or before September 1 to enroll in Kindergarten.

Register Online:

Visit k12.VCSEDU.org/enroll to complete your child's registration.

Required Documents

The legal parent or guardian must provide the following documents before enrollment is complete and attendance can begin:

• Student's Original Birth Certificate (no hospital certificates)
• Immunization Record (HRS 680 form signed by a physician)
• Florida Physical Form (DH3040, signed by a licensed Florida medical authority, dated within one year of registration)
• TWO Proofs of Residency (e.g., lease, power bill, water bill — dated within the last 30 days)
• Parent/Guardian Driver's License or ID
• (Optional) Student's Social Security Card (for identification and assessment purposes)
